As the year comes to an end we take time to reflect on the past 10 months and appreciate all the contributions from our students and our community. We will also be saying goodbye to several staff members as they continue on their journey and adventures elsewhere.
A few retirements…
Wishing Laurie Redka and Shelby Thornhill, both from one of our ACE classes, happy adventures as they embark on a new and exciting chapter in their lives. Congratulations on a long and lovely career!
A few Maternity leaves…
We’re excited to wish Ms. Kelsey Hughes, Mrs. Ashley Sheppard, and Mrs. Paige Kraft all the best for the next year as they take some time at home with their new family members. We’re hoping they come back to visit with their baby bundles!
A few terms ending…
Thank you to Mrs. Kim Chase-Kelly, Ms.Cara Kernaghan, Ms. Jodi Key, Ms. Kate Lapalme, and Mrs. Alice Mesa. Each of these amazing people were covering a role for us for part of the year, and we are sad to see them go. All the best in the new school year. Good luck!
A few moves…
Ms. Gurinder Purewal, from our second ACE class is moving on to Forest Heights, and Mrs. Andrea Hekler from K1 will be moving on to Wilson Avenue Public School. Your new schools are lucky to have you! We will miss you!
A promotion…
Our current vice principal, Mrs. Siobhan Shonk, has been appointed as the new principal at Trillium Public School in Kitchener beginning this September. We wish her all the best and know that she will be as loved and appreciated as she serves her new community.
