Dear Parents/Guardians:

We hope that your family has had a chance to enjoy summer and that you are all well.  As students and staff await opening day 2022, we want you to know that here at Avenue Road we are looking forward to working with all of you! We are excited that this school year will start off in a somewhat normal way, and please rest assured our commitment to our students remains unwavering. We are incredibly excited to welcome our staff and students back to the classroom this year.

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 6th.  School begins at 9am and ends at 3:20. 

As we continue to navigate challenges with our computer systems, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We are all working toward ensuring that our students, staff and WRDSB families have a healthy and safe return to school.  

In terms of finding out your child’s classroom and teacher, please come to the schoolyard beginning at 8:45 am.  All staff will be wearing orange vests and will have the information you require about which class your child will be in.  

Mrs. Haddock will be the supply principal until November and Ms. Marchiori is here until September 15th.  Mr. Schmitt continues to be our vice principal throughout the transition to a new principal.
