Save Arrival – Attendance

Ensuring the save arrival of students is essential.

If your child is not going to be at school, please ensure you have reported your child’s absence by sending an email to: ave-attendance@wrdsb.ca or calling 519-623-0860 extension 1 or prior to the start of the school day (9:00 a.m.). This service is available 24 hours a day. The message should contain the following information: date of absence, time, student’s name, grade, teacher’s name, reason for being late/absent and the estimated period of time that the student will be away. 

If you have not reported your child’s absence we will have to follow up with a phone call to confirm he/she/they are home with you. We greatly appreciate the assistance in having the information ahead of time, so we know your child is safe with you.
